About Main Street WebWorks

Built on Experience. Guided by Practical Values.

Cartoon Ed 2026f

My name is Ed Bejarana. I’m a U.S. Army veteran, a husband and father, and a web developer who has spent more than three decades helping small businesses build an online presence that actually works.

I founded Main Street WebWorks nearly twenty years ago after seeing too many hardworking business owners get tangled up in complicated technology, long-term contracts, and websites that looked impressive but didn’t help their business grow.

Most small businesses don’t need hype.
They need clarity, reliability, and someone who respects the fact that their time—and their money—matter.

That simple idea still guides how I work today.

A Lifetime Working on the Web

I started building websites in the early days of the internet, long before most businesses realized how important the web would become.

Over the past 35+ years I’ve built more than 2,600 websites for small and medium-sized businesses across the United States. Many of the people I work with are local service providers—contractors, landscapers, consultants, shop owners, and tradespeople who take pride in the work they do.

These businesses don’t need flashy gimmicks or complicated marketing funnels.

They need a website that:

  • clearly explains what they do
  • helps customers find them
  • builds trust quickly
  • and turns visitors into real conversations

In other words, a website that shows up and does its job every day.

Why I Build Everything on WordPress

Every website I build is developed on WordPress, one of the most reliable and flexible website platforms in the world.

The reason is simple: it gives small business owners control.

Your website shouldn’t feel like something you’re renting from a company that can lock you out or change the rules. With WordPress, your site belongs to you. And when the project is finished, I make sure you understand how to use it, update it, and keep it working for your business.

Clear ownership. Clear understanding. No mysteries.

Websites Built for the Way People Search Today

The way people find businesses online is changing. Many customers now ask questions directly through tools like Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, or other AI-powered assistants.

Because of that shift, modern websites need to be structured so that both search engines and AI systems understand what your business does and why you’re the right answer.

Part of my work today focuses on helping businesses organize their websites so they appear clearly when people search for solutions to the problems they solve.

It’s not about gaming algorithms.
It’s about communicating clearly.

When your website explains what you do in a way both humans and machines can understand, your visibility improves naturally.

A Straightforward Way of Doing Business

One of the frustrations many small business owners have with the web industry is pricing that feels confusing or unpredictable.

That’s why Main Street WebWorks operates with clear, flat-fee pricing and “not-to-exceed” quotes. You’ll know the cost of your project before we begin.

And if you want help after your site launches, I also offer ongoing support through a Virtual Web Department approach. Instead of hiring a full-time web team, you can simply call when you need updates, improvements, or technical help.

No ticket systems.
No call centers.
Just straightforward support from someone who already understands your website.

The Principles Behind the Work

At this stage of my life, the work I do is guided by a few simple beliefs.

Do honest work.
Treat people fairly.
Build things that last.

I believe small businesses are the backbone of healthy communities. When local businesses succeed, families thrive, neighborhoods grow stronger, and opportunity spreads outward.

Helping those businesses succeed online has been my way of contributing to that larger picture.

Based in North Idaho — Serving Clients Nationwide

Main Street WebWorks is based in North Idaho, and I work with clients both locally and across the United States.

Technology makes distance less important than it once was, but relationships still matter. Many of my clients have been working with me for years because they know they can call when something needs attention and get a thoughtful, practical response.

That kind of working relationship is what I value most.

Let’s Have a Conversation

If you’re thinking about building a new website, improving an existing one, or simply trying to understand how your business can be found more easily online, I’m always happy to talk things through.

No pressure. Just a straightforward conversation about what might help your business move forward.
